Lionville is bisected by two major highways called Pa 100 and PA 113. The area of Lionville is home to many residential neighborhoods, hotels, restaurants, and other businesses. The name of the village used to be called Welsh Pool. The name was changed to Lionville to honor the local Red Lion Inn. Lionville and the area along Village Avenue is a protected historic district.
